SHOPPING ROUNDUP
If you can dream it, it’s here in our women’s footwear roundup for fall.By Piera Gelardi and Allison Sparkuhl
With Fashion Week fast approaching, it’s crucial to make sure your “see and be seen” credos are in working order. We’ve dished on leather pants, florals, and tailored plaids, but left out that most important of front-row must-haves—the perfect shoe. Moreover, we’re hitting the time of year where winter wear can restrict your flair for fashion (though stylish layering may be God’s gift to woman). But there’s nothing like a great pair of stacked heels, go-to oxfords, or mock hiking boots peeping out below a cold-weather ensemble to ward off the weather. So, whether you’re stepping into the tents or just stepping into fall, our list of the best kicks for the season is definitely required reading.

Since it’s inception, Jeffrey Campbell has been available at fine boutiques and small brick and mortar stores nationwide. We are a small company–and love the style and sensibility that is brought about by our small boutique accounts, all of whom offer their own selections of our line, giving their customers all the Jeffrey Campbell they can handle. Our small accounts are what keep us fresh and challenge us to make the next great shoe, it is these accounts who truly have their finger on the pulse of what the consumers want. The internet is no exception—and you won’t find JC offered on mega-sites and giant shoe websites that offer a “warehouse feeling” right on the screen of your laptop, ew.
Instead, we continue to turn to small sites and sites which offer the best selections of goods while still staying true to their roots—on of the best examples is www.modcloth.com. If you have an obsession with “cute,” “adorable,” or “irresistable,” you most likely already know about this amazing site of hard to resist goodness. You have to visit the ladies of www.modcloth.com often, because they fly through our stuff–and you can bet they always select our most fun and outrageous styles!! we <3 MODCLOTH!!! and apparently, so do other people….see below…………

These slingbacks look like they’re just for fun, what with the adorable bird and “feathers” on the upper, but click through the jump to see just how wearable they actually are. We like the purple and grey color scheme and we love how the bird is just abstract enough that you have to look at the shoes from the top in order to see it – from the side, it simply looks like a normal shoe. Genius!

The New York Post blog recently featured this season’s smash gladiator, the JEFFREY CAMPBELL “top fringe” on Stylist Gabriela Langone—and while nobody can dispute that summer is starting it’s descent–Miss Langone is climbing the charts of cuteness. The top fringe, which was a take on the original gladiator, accented with a full frontal assault of suede fringe is still available at select stores, but has sold out at most retail locations.
In limited sizes the top fringe is still available at www.solestruck.com.

Stylist Gabriela Langone wears a Tracy Feith dress with an old belt, Jeffrey Campbell shoes and a Lucky bag.
“I’m trying to toughen up this dress a little because I don’t like how frilly it is,” says Gabriela.
