Recent Art Institute of Portland Alum, Alex Gallatin, just debuted her senior collection show FUTURE TENSE, as the final step in completing her program and degree in Apparel Design. The collection of updated 1980’s shapes and concepts, influences of futuristic detailing and nods to architecture–is comprised largely of wool and covers a watered down monochromatic yet striking color palette. In presenting this final work, we were honored that the designer paired recent Jeffrey Campbell shoes with the majority of the collection for both the presentation and photo pieces.
