It’s Give-Away time again! Because we’re so excited about our partnership with Wasteland (BEST VINTAGE STORE EVER!), we have decided to give away a free pair of the Catch Boot to one lucky winner.
To enter post your favorite summer memory in any way you see fit (story, poem, song, home movie, drawing, photo essay etc.) in a comment on our Facebook page. The deadline for the contest is Monday, May 9th 2011. The winner will be announced the next day VIA our Facebook, Twitter, and our blog.

This photo was taken just last Saturday during easter. The park was utterly amazing! The sun was at its highest peak and it wasn’t cold at all. Well I don’t have photos from previous summers because I moved to camera and I don’t have any saved. In hopes of becoming a photographer I love places like these! ♥

When I was little and my sister was learning to ride her bike around the pool with her training wheels, she rode it into the pool and started crying as I laughed and my parents snapped a picture. summer memory: HOW HIGH HEELS SAVED MY LIFE last summer i was visiting a friend in vegas, shacking up at her parents house with her. she went home early one night, but i decided to stay out. this left me with a dead phone, no sound way of getting in the house. it must have been four am when i knocked over 10 million screaming rocks in… the pitch black of night, while climbing the fence into her backyard. i knocked on her window. no response. i ran around to the backdoor hoping it had been left unlocked. no luck. i began to run back towards her window around the cement yard, when i heard ‘click! click!’ the sound of a shotgun ready to fire. i began to scramble. then i hear, ‘jamie? is that you?’ my friends mom turns on the light and there i was, staring down a 12 gauge shotgun. her dad says, ‘get your ass in the house. you’re lucky you had on high heels–i knew it was you by the sound of your heels hitting the cement.’ jamie lin snider, size 40.5 euro, 9.5 us

My favorite summer memory and i can still remember it like it was yesterday. My mom and grandma use to take us kids (brother and sister) down to the beach. And we would stay the night down there in our motor home and i remember my grandma telling me that the beach was her favorite place to go just go relax. That was the last time i ever went somewhere with my grandma. But last summer I went down there to visit my brother who is in the Airforce down at Point Mugu. Well we walked up and down the beach with my mom and sister and it was a gorgeous day. Not a lot of people on the beach but i just remember walking down the beach toes in the sand and all and just remember i kept turning around because i could have sworn someone was walking next to me and no one was. That day i truly thought my grandma was with me on the beach. I’ll never forget it. Thanks for reading this, i appreciate it
