Happy Friday, JC Girls and Boys! It’s time for another installment of our Summer Friday Guest blog featuring ASAMI aka PINK KITTEN. Check out her Jeffrey Campbell picks for the week, as well as some commentary on her favorite current styles!

We aren’t going to get a rainy Friday get us down here in NYC. What’s to be sad about anyway? SOLESTRUCK has even more NEW ARRIVALS FROM JC! Maybe we should start doing weekly mega-posts, because we can barely keep up with the pace at which SS delivers the new JC goods.

Being in NYC, we’re spoiled with not one, but TWO brick and mortar A.OK locations (and now three, if you count their Fire Island Beach House). The shops are curated with a dark, minimalistic playfulness and staffed with some of the most stylish New Yorkers around, but thanks to their equally major online store, you don’t have to miss out on any of the goods the A.OK buyers meticulously select for it’s fashion-forward clientele.

One of the best parts about working in the NY Showroom is that we get to interact with our JC Girls and Boys out there. What better way to see what y’all are into than with the Social Network itself, Facebook?

Our fab intern, Brittany, alerted us to an amazing video that EDGE OF URGE put together featuring some of our favorite JC summer styles, the LANA IN WOVEN MUSTARD LEATHER and the TICK IN PAINT SPLATTER.

In fact, they have so many of our new favorite styles, it was extremely difficult not to take a screenshot of their JC section and post it here with a simple “duh” as the headline. We’re super excited because one of our favorite reads, VICE MAGAZINE is running an ad for our GIRLS WE HATED IN HIGH SCHOOL summer handbags in their current issue. We were lucky enough to steal up-and-coming music superstar TIF B away from her crazy schedule for a quick photo-shoot featuring some of our hottest summer GWHIHS styles.

It’s getting closer folks, the JEFFREY CAMPBELL FALL 2011 LOOK BOOK, that is! We don’t want to give away too much, but we can barely contain our excitement over how fierce this one turned out.

Asami aka PINK KITTEN is back with another edition of “Pink Friday” as we’re calling it now. If you’ve been keeping up with our blog, you know that every Friday we let Asami take over a post and tell you which JC shoes she’s feeling this week.

We’ve found ourselves in a bit of a courtship with LF SoHo. But this ‘aint any old summer fling, this is true love! In celebration of the debut of our handbag line GIRLS WE HATED IN HIGH SCHOOL, the lovely ladies of LF SoHo put together a fab summer video, featuring some of our favorite summer backpacks and a little lower Manhattan ambiance to set the mood.

Okay, okay Tyra’s not involved, BUT if there are any models, aspiring models, “fashion-forward shoe junkies” etc. etc. and all of the above out there, you DO NOT want to miss this opportunity.

Ever wonder how we get that hand-painted one-of-a-kind effect on our paint splattered kicks? Well it isn’t an effect at all! Each one of our paint-splattered shoes are actually hand-painted at our home office in LA!

Today we got an e-mail from our Spanish Team telling us all about an exciting visit they got from Pilar Rubio, a famous TV personality from Spain. She’s a big fan of JC and wanted to visit the Spanish factory for some behind-the-scenes action.

One of our favorite places in New York City to shop is the A.OK store on Bond St. (for those who don’t know it’s in the basement of OAK). Store manager Alicia, was kind enough to let us do one of our famous stop-and-shops. We snapped some pics of their summer JC collection, as well [...]
