We LOVE our hard-working interns. They help us out so much, and it’s only fair that you get to meet the true worker bees of the NYC showroom. It’s fall, which means we have some amazing new helpers around the office. First up is Shana, an LA transplant, with amazing style reminiscent of both 90s Lisa Bonet and modern-day neo-soul beauties, trailblazing trends on the runways and on the street.

What Inspires You
I’m inspired by everything that surrounds me. I truly believe in all things beautiful and organic, so everything that life has to offer, the good and the bad is all an inspiration to me. Being fairly new to NY, I’m beginning to make a lot of new blossoming friendships, and I’ve begun to realize that being surrounded by people of my age, background, that have similar beliefs as I, and who are trying to do the similar things as I am, to be the ultimate motivation and inspiration. The entire Afro-American, Afro-Centric, Rastafarian Movement, plays a big part as well. And obviously all of my supporters and the people who want to see me succeed, are all little pieces of love and inspiration.

I’m Neo-Soul lover all the way!! I can never get enough of Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Bilal. I thoroughly enjoy Reggae music and old school R&B as well.

I don’t just have one favorite blogger, I have a couple of favorites. Some of my favorite bloggers are Seirra Luella, Street Etiquette, K John LaSoul, Curran J, Vintage Kitty, Miss Vintage Virgin, Karla of Karlas Closet. They Sierra Luella and Vintage Kitty are the cutest little bundles of fashion joy. I am really into men’s fashion so Street Etiquette, K John La Soul and Curran J are absolutely amazing when it comes to setting the bar high in the men’s fashion world. *Screams* I just love all of you guys. Xo
