Whenever we style a look book shoot and it’s the night before and we still need the perfect pieces to bring everything together, this girl always gets us out of a jam. Meet Kate Papineau from LF SoHo. We’re kind of obsessed with everything about her and we were lucky enough to grab her for an interview and a few snapshots outside her store a little while back. From her amazing hats to her 90210 (90s version) style tips, we can only ask the age old question: “Can we be like her when we grow up?”

i have a perfect hat collection- tons of hats from my mima and random gems with great stories and they’re kept in old round hat boxes. so lovely. I also die for this oversized Missoni sweater i got years ago and still want to wear like every second.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME TO THE 90′S AND RESCUE ONE PIECE OF YOUR WARDROBE THAT YOU HAVE SINCE DISCARDED…WHAT WOULD IT BE? Velvet overalls with a matching velvet blossom hat. Duh.

IF ALIENS LANDED IN FRONT OF YOU AND, IN EXCHANGE FOR ANYTHING YOU DESIRE, OFFERED YOU ANY POSITION ON THEIR PLANET, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT? Bird whisperer. Can you imagine how major space birds must be? i would train them to synchronize swim the sky or maybe they already do that so i could teach them gymnastics and have space bird sky olympics.
