I had this really exciting post all planned and what not [tradeshow photos!] but unfortunately my hard drive crashed last night… picture me crying in the apple store, yes real life. So, I probably won’t get my computer back for a few days (I’ve been borrowing my roommate’s- thanks Chiara!!) and I’m keeping my fingers crossed like cray cray to see if they will be able to retrieve any of my information. If the hard drive isn’t completely toast, I’ll post some belated tradeshow photos on a later date- pinky swear.
Also these were the babies I was wearing for the show. For-Real: definitely the boldest shoes that has ever been my glass slipper, seriously so much fun.

Since the holidays are just around the corner (and my friend, Alli, just made the best cookies ever) I thought I’d share a quick chocolate cookie recipe!
The insides:
8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped, melted and cooled
2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup canola oil
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
4 large eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup powdered sugar
