STYLE POST: AZAELIA BANKS AND IGGY AZALEA

At the tail end of 2011 two new female MC’s made their debut in the game with similar names, but vastly different flows and styles. Azaelia Banks burst onto the scene with “212″ an infectious and relentless hard-hitting and wonderfully meandering ode to her Harlem roots. Meanwhile, Iggy Azalea the Amazon from Australia came hard with her mix-tape ignorant art featuring heavy beats, and a mile-a-minute flow. While the most similar thing about these two rappers is their name, we’re fans of both and can’t wait to see how their style, both musically and fashion-wise evolves in the new year.
