OMG, the Lita’s birthday is today! Our precious baby Lita has become our brand’s ultimate staple, instantly recognizable and available in a rainbow of different colors and fabrics. We’ve spiked it, studded it, threw some glitter on it, distressed it, colored it, printed on it, wove it and even put some Black Milk Clothing on it. The Lita has been through it all and it is still ready for more.

How did the Lita get it’s name? Sharon from the LA office gives us the story:

“When I first unpacked this crazy mustard colored high heel platform bootie, I thought, “This is SO 70’s!”  I named the crazy ankle boot LITA, after Lita Ford from the ultimate 70’s “girl band”, The Runaways.  I never imagined back then that LITA would have the glamorous life that she has lead since first hitting the shelves!”
