It may be ridiculously freezing where you live right now, but as ever-so dedicated dressers, it’s our duty to always keep it hot. Tough life, right? That’s especially our philosophy with this new trend, or what we like to call the cut-out craze.
Our belief is that a little skin never hurt anyone, and chic cut-outs present just the right amount of sex appeal without being too explicit or obvious of course. We appreciate the details of design and if done correctly, a garment can be transformed from drab and mumsy to sleek, forward and ultra-flattering. The glimpses of skin slivers offer buckets of poised femininity and major potential for a classy moment (maybe an edgy one if you prefer) or even a night of red-carpet-esque wow factor. Discreet and strategically stylish.
Like many trends, striking a balance is the challenge and the power of the peek-a-boo isn’t for everyone. Don’t go overboard with the exposure. Subtle and simple sultriness is the goal and focus on highlighting your best assets. Keep the rest of your look toned down for a more polished finish.
