The inspo for our ‘Twice My Burn’ look book was a combo of one of our fave Fiona Apple songs, “Shadowboxer” and a very informative book, “Men Who Can’t Love.” After hearing all of our friend’s disastrous love lives, including our own, we were inspired by the madness that is love!

-        Falling for bad boys

-        Stalking him before you even know his last name

-        Hooking up with that cutie from the bar

And the list goes on…

We collaborated with photographer Richie Valdez, who hails from the infamous Fantasy Factory. Richie was freakin’ the day of because he’s normally accustomed to shooting hot skater boys, duh.  All in all Richie killed it, minus the, “You got a Cher butt (in those white pants)” and, “Don’t look at the camera” comments to Madison.

Our girl Karly from LiveLifeFashions totes delivered on hooking us up with some pretty major MinkPink and Evil Twin pieces. The day before the shoot was spent styling all the amazingness that was Motel Rocks, Saltwater Gypsy, and LolliSwim with our JC picks. The icing on the cake was def all our great accessories from Locketship, Sheila B, and NinoGambino trinkets.
