2013 has finally graced us with it’s presence and like most of the world, we’re excited for a fresh start. Now many of us here at the JC headquarters didn’t actually have a New Year’s resolution because as our girl Lissette says, you can start anything on any day. However, there are obviously a number of things we are excited for and a few things we’re going to try to stay on top of. They’re kind of  like a New Year’s resolutions, but with less commitment (We’re not really big fans of the “C” word) and we’re counting down from 13 because, well it’s relevant.

13. Coachella 2013
Rumors of the Rolling Stones and Daft Punk? We need to be there, like yesterday.

12. More Exercise & Healthy Starts
Walking around a mall totally counts as exercise, right?

11.  Taking Chances
When was the last time you did something for the first time?

10. Karaoke
Yes, you read that right. Lissette is all about getting her Adele on.

9. I Think I Overpacked
Travel, travel, and more travel please. Our girl Muriel is headed to Europe this year to visit her BFF. Jealous much?

8. Shine Bright Like a Shoe
Metallics have already taken over our closets and we’re excited to carry them over into the new year.

7. Do as Lagerfeld Says, Always.
We vow to Karl to never wear sweatpants this year.

6. Out with the Old, In with the New
Some of us (we’re not naming names, Muriel) are planning to purge our overcrowded closets

5. Warehouse Sale Season
Does this even need an explanation?

4. What Does “Sautée” mean?
Muriel plans on learning how to cook her mother’s food. Move over, momma!

3. Concerts, Concerts & More Concerts
Lissette is headed to Burgerama in March, Ashlyn already has a stack of 2013 concert tickets just waiting to be used and
Sharon is excited for G Love & Special Sauce touring this Spring.

2. Give A Little More
This year, we want to give! Whether it be volunteering in our community or even  just offering kindness to
a stranger, we plan on doing more.

1. Saying Yes
Remember that awesome movie Jim Carrey was in where he learned how to say “Yes!” to everything
and he experienced new things and met the love of his life? Well yeah, we want to do that.
