LF is one of the first places to get our Girls We Hated in High School handbag line. To celebrate their debut, we took a field-trip to 149 Spring Street in SoHo to shop with some of the fab NYC LF Stylists. First, we spotted Emily – the assistant store manager – carrying her personal favorite, the Rizzler in Rust Leather and Canvas, browsing the storefront outside. Once inside the trendy boutique, we met Melody – LF SoHo’s keyholder – who told us a certain pop-star fond of glitter and dollar signs scooped us on the GWHIHS shopping trip and purchased TWO of the Rizzler bags the night before (we heard our girl bought one in all black leather, and also one in Red, White and Blue leather)! Sasha, one of the stylists, put together a look with the Lopes in Orange and Fuchsia, perfect for a summer rooftop BBQ. For the rest of our visit we had some styling fun with store manager Kate, who helped us put together some fierce combinations of GWHIHS bags, JC shoes and drool-worthy threads only available at LF. We’ve officially crowned Margaret Cho as the most fabulously funny JC Girl on the planet since spotting her in silver Tics on RuPaul’s Drag Race and Purple Litas at an Empire City Men’s chorus event. We’ve always been a huge fan of her stand up, and TV shows and we also think her human rights activism is super cool! Make sure to follow Margaret on Twitter here!
