[The Ladies of Vixen Work The Look]

Jeffrey Campbell is a GIANT fan of the tough girl! Regardless of weather you are channeling Joan Jett, Lita Ford, the ladies of VIXEN (pictured above) or even modern day PINK, we always love the fashion looks of the girl from the other side of the trax! Two of our newest and most celebrated fall styles make a play on this look, by adding masculine features to the must-have female staples of 2008/09. Available as of today in limited quantities at REVOLVE–the Jeffrey Campell stylez ZAPT and COLEEN are literally kick ass!! Reworked engineer styles–are updated for a fresh take on the time-honored trend.

Good year welted and inspired by women on the edge–these leather engineer boots are both amped up with fresh details and accents to make them pop. Be that, zippers, buckles, oversized straps and harnesses or the combination of all three–both of these styles are staples to any fall wardrobe. Hand distressed and pre-broken in leather gives both of these styles a distressed look that makes them seem they have been in your rotation for years—even though they are your current obsession.

These boots are available in LIMITED quatities–so please click over to www.revolveclothing.com and make your way to the JEFFREY CAMPBELL section to view all of your favorite styles and trends to make your dreams come true!!

The NY Times—gets obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell. Read on!

The High Low | Jeffrey Campbell Shoes, $99.95

Good style mixes high-ticket items with brilliant affordable gets. In this column,
T’s fashion team finds the cheap and the chic.

What: Jeffrey Campbell leather lace-up
How much: $99.95 at solestruck.com
Who: Courtney Weinblatt, T Magazine’s women’s fashion assistant

When it comes to style, I tend to fall into the girly-girl camp: dresses, floral prints, high heels.
But lately I have been seeing so many great men’s-wear-inspired shoes that I have started to flirt
with a more androgynous look. These black-and-white lace-ups from Jeffrey Campbell resemble
men’s spectators, but the narrow cut and eyelet-like details give them a decidedly feminine twist so
you can swing your look both ways. And at $99.95 they are a relatively low-risk fashion investment.
Fancy that!

WELL!! THANKS!! New York Times for the boost to our already HUGE self esteem! As mentioned in
previous blogs–we love the Saraid 2, and it seems to be nearly seasonless. Pair it with Jeans, tights,
a trouser or aflirty dress–the saraid has you covered. It is also available in a delicious grey black combo
and tan/brown combo which may even seem a bit more fall—while the classic black white como is a
timeless staple for any season.

Jeffrey Campbell–GREATEST HITS FALL ‘08

October 18 2008

One of our favorite fashion blogs www.paper-doll.com did a recent review of essential JC fall items. Of course, their staff of bloggists have the most discerning of taste–picking what are some of our most notable and best selling pieces.

Paper-doll is a truly comprehensive blog—which in all actuality reads more like a fashion handbook for the up-and-coming it girl. With the dish on where to shop, how to shop, steals, deals, design finds and killer looks the P-doll is where to surf when you need some fashion inspritation. In the words of Rachel Zoe, this site is “BANANAS…I DIE! I DIE!” Paper-doll went right on target with their Jeffrey Cambpell selections of fall must haves—highlighting some of our best performing items.

from time-to-time sure, I complain a bit.

October 07 2008

It usually happens on Friday, or at the end of any particular day which ends in “Y.” I will be leaving the NYC Jeffrey Campbell office on 33rd and 7th—and I start to complain. Nestled just near Madison Square Garden, Penn Station and midtown tourist hysteria— the office is planted in a NYC Crazy-zone! From time to time I find myself ranting as I make my way to the 8th Ave E train–only two blocks away. MIDTOWN, in short, is not cute. Tourists crowd the streets, people with rolley bags are running to Penn Station–in general it’s a mess of a lot of NOT CUTEness all piled into a few urban blocks. So I walk. I focus on on my train…meanwhile complaining to myself.

Friday, I was leaving work at a reasonable hour–en route to a movie at Union Square. As I hit the streets I was smacked in the face with the craziness of Friday 5pm—people everywhere—and it wasn’t until one block later I saw this cute couple…making their way through the blandness of midtown Macy’s bags and H&M shoppers. It was like God himself had sent two cute people—to simply help my two block afternoon trek to the train…so cute—that I had to stop them for  quick snap shot!

And…as if all this cuteness wasn’t enough (in town from London….DUH..) God threw me another bone as I was about to descend the steps to the E train. I simply looked over my shoulder and there like the blossoming carnations that adorned her own head, was this little flower. She was dressed up GIRL. Her rabbit fur bomber as layered over her work clothes and topped off by about 1 dozen red carnations tied into her hair with rubberbands and bobby pins. I was like…”where are you going? You look amazing!!” She just looked at me plainly, like this is her day-to-day look and said “I am waiting for my man.” Snap and Snap. Thank you NYC for never failing me when I need a pick up.
