It’s no secret that we’ve been in love with floral prints for a long time. And we mean really long. Like since we were in third grade kind of long. Sure, we got a little confused when we hit middle school and the big kids convinced us that goth was where it was at, but one day we mustered the courage looked them dead in the eye and introduced them to our red floral and black suede McCarthy backpack. Yes, that day was today and not in 8th grade, but hey they were pretty intimidating 8th graders. We’re lovin’ the new arrivals over at ENVI. We have a big thing for shoes with tasteful cut-outs, and these styles are perfect if you feel the same way. Our new favorite of the bunch has got to be COLTRANE in black leather. Amazing with a festive pair of heavy socks in the colder months, and equally as major without socks come spring and summer. The chunky, work-boot heel also brings us back to the 90s in all the right ways. And we’re loving the hardware on this update to the Roscoe – another one of our all time favs.

Okay, we love the former two works just as much, but SSTTITD always sent a chill down our spine on those cold autumn nights.

We’re so excited to introduce one of our favorite bags from our EX-CRUSHES handbag line. Named after real-life ex-crush Ryan McCarthy, we thought who better to model the bag, but the man behind the bag himself? We took a trip up to Boston for a quick photo-shoot of the McCarthy backpack capsule collection, and Ryan even helped us scout the locations we used (including an abandoned zoo). The shoot turned out so well we’re thinking of tracking down the rest of our ex-crushes for more of these mini-look books.

Day-trips to the beach may be over, but we love that we’re staring to break out the fall looks, which include lots and lots of sweaters! This year it’s all about bright colors and prints (like Biggie’s Coogi sweater) to brighten up those darker fall and winter months.
