JEFFREY CAMPBELL TRUNK SHOW AT ALTER

Anyone who shops Brooklyn, shops ALTER. The two pint sized stores which straddle Franklin just near the corner of Greenpoint Avenue are a frequent stop-offs for the fashion savvy Brooklyn-ite. Located in Greenpoint the stores have developed a cult like following for not only the cutest kids in this up-and-coming Polish hood–but NY shoppers from far-and-wide. In addition to creating their own one off collection, the boys from ALTER provide a selectively currated collection for the fashion nomad in all of us. Men’s store on one side of the street, facing ALTER women’s—the small boutiques drive a serious look–think black, rocker, london chic meets up and coming Brooklyn socialite. In short, Alter has developed a look–a uniform. And much like their logo and iconographic representation, an upside-down hanger, ALTER is turning the Brooklyn street fashion look on it’s head.
